Professor Johnbull airs Tuesday, discusses concept of "beauty"


As the TV drama series, Professor Johnbull, goes on air today, the issue of "beauty" in an age of digital manipulations will come to the fore.

Programme sponsor and grandmasters of data, Globacom, said Episode 10 of the series, named "Beautiful Girls", will draw viewers' attention to the infinite possibilities of using computer applications to enhance one's looks and pass off for what one is not.

The company said the series which goes on air at 8.30 p.m. today on NTA Network, NTA International on DSTV Channel 251 and on NTA Channel on Startimes will be intriguing and thought-provoking.

It will also feature Glo ambassador and comedian, Bovi Ugboma, who will thrill lovers of the TV drama series as he makes a guest appearance, Globacom said.

The episode will further drive home the point that "all that glitters is not gold" as it exposes the tricks played by tech-savvy ladies who use computer aids to change their looks and enhance their overall appeal.

It will parade the regular stars including the lead character, Kanayo O. Kanayo, as well as Yomi Fash-Lanso, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Queen Nwokoye and Ogus Baba.

A major issue that will be addressed in the episode is the relationship between complexion and beauty and whether "fair" is really "fair".

Globacom urged viewers to keep a date withProfessor Johnbull as 'Beautiful Girls" is aired at 8.30.p.m. on NTA  on today with a repeat broadcast on Friday at the same time and on the same mentioned channels.
